4Bar Tech - Smooth walking WITHOUT a walk-mode boot.
The revolutionary 4 Bar Tech hinge creates the most natural stride in all of ski touring by replacing the single pivot point of other touring bindings with a linkage-driven virtual pivot that rotates directly under the balls of your feet. This unlocks the range of motion to tour comfortably and effectively in boots with or without walk modes.Since the rotation to walk comes from the linkage, you do not need tech fittings in your boots to tour with Daymakers!
On flat terrain like approaches, ridge lines, or even mellow descents, the -3° neutral stance of the Daymakers counters the forward lean built into boots and bindings for a comfortable, upright stance, even with non walk-mode boots. When the going gets steeper there are 7° and 12.5° elevators that can be quickly deployed with your hand or ski pole using the Easy Levers.

I got my wife a set of Daymakers so she could join me and our sons on some uphill skin laps at our local mountain. Setup was simple and they worked great. I'll definitely be buying more for my sons.

New to skinning, wanted a way to enter the sport without investing in a whole new setup since I just got a new downhill setup this year. Ordering was easy, Giray even responded to some questions I had before purchase!!! Adapters came preset, so worth the $10 and with a little trimming of the skins I was ready to go. At the mountain install was super quick and stability in the binding was great. Smooth action going uphill. Switched over at the top with no issue (get the dry bag, fits the adapters and skins perfectly). Even hardcore skinners were shocked by how quickly I changed over. Adapters are well built with quality materials. Overall super pleased with the purchase!!!

I bought these to adapt my piste skis for occasional AT days with friends. I didn’t want yet another setup just for AT so I was intrigued by this option. It took a little work to fit them to my boots and bindings and cut the skins, but it was kinda fun. I used them for the first time today and they exceeded expectations. Getting into them was pretty straightforward and they felt fine walking. I had no problem keeping up with the group and loved having my regular skis for the downhill. If I find myself doing AT 20+ days I’ll consider a dedicated AT setup, but these are perfect for right now.
